The Hunted

Violets do not usually bloom in winter, and the white deer knew this even as she followed their scent. She was hungry, and even though she knew the violets
would upset her stomach she went in search of them anyway.

She had no idea that a simple patch of violets would send her world spiraling out of control. She found herself completely disoriented as hunters pursured her.
An arrow pierced her ankle, and she fell, collapsing into darkness.

When she woke, she had no idea where she was, or for that matter who she was. But the hands and feet she had seemed strange to her, though she couldn't quite
place why. The prince that stayed by her side seemed kind, and she quickly found that she was happy and very much in love.

But when a strange woman appears with her hunting party things began to change. The prince began behaving oddly, and this new woman sparked a fear inside her
that made her want to run as fast as she could, as far away as possible. The scent of danger began to fill the air, and everything inside her screamed at her to run.

But she was not the only one in danger, so was the prince, and how could she run if he refused to? She has to do something to save them, but what was the danger?
Who was this strange woman? Who was she?
